I want to ask her what rolling thunder was like, especially for a performance-phobe, to be onstage with all those guys; and to get her take on the reuben carter thing. also, as a fellow phobe, to ask her how to play like i’m alone in the room.

When, Al, when?????

Because he’s smart and funny, and I almost always want to stand and cheer when I watch his show (careful not to knock over the bong). For the most part, he speaks for me, though he ocassionally goes off on what I would call a misoginistic tangent. Oh, and what’s with he and the spawn of satan coulter? Surely he has his pick of skinny blondes; why would he pander to fascist pu**y?

Because she’s hella gifted, an inspiration to writers and performers, and because she appears to have unmoving integrity and authenticity.

Because he’s freakin hilarious, that’s why. And he seems like a genuinely good guy.

I’m the short chick “on the rail” at about 100 of your past shows : )

Your voice still emotes so much passion and pathos, your phrasery and tone have moved me for decades and I still get the chills at old familair lines. That is, when you’re not upsinging at the end of each line. Then, frankly, it seems like you’re just phonin it in. Sorry, but we all think so.

But really, thank you for so much artisitc inspiration. I could’ve done it without you but it wouldn’t have been nearly as cool.
